물을 빛의 매개체로 적절하게 활용하여 빛의 효율을 높힌 조명이다.. 주변에 유리 공예 할줄 아는 사람만 있으면 얼마든지 만들어 볼수 있을거 같은데.. 어디 유리 공예 간단히 배울 만한 곳이 없을까?

'colour lights' lamp

'colour lights' by belgian interior-industrial designer maarten de ceulaer, is a lighting project
that will be presented during milan design week 2010 at the spazio rossana orlandi between
april 14-19.

by adding a few drops of edible food colourants to the water inside the bottle, one can change
the colour of the lamp and thus, modify the atmosphere of the space. any hue can be created
with the right mix of primary colours: cyan, magenta and yellow.



the food colourants will be supplied with the lamp or can be ordered afterwards.
all lamps are handmade in collaboration with a laboratory glass-ware atelier in brussels.



the designs to be presented are only the first series of prototypes. the line will soon be expanded with
a greater variety of bottle designs, along with more choices of sizes for each model.

the spherical shape found on the bottom of the bottles is sandblasted from below.
the power-LED  mounted on an aluminium disc helps to illuminate the glass.
