No Scratch Watch

The Swatch concept watch by designer Allan George is basically aimed at the youth who like to wear trendy fashion, but maybe rough with it. Although latest scratch-proof glass materials are used in Omega, Rolex and ilk, but not all brands use this for their entire collection. And a watch with scratches on its glass looks so lame! Allan’s concept simple does away with the glass face and replaces it with a plastic-rubber finish. The colored hands peep out, behind a transparent rim, giving the watch a trendy and easy look!

Tokyoflash Twitter Concept Watch Says It's Meaningless Self-Promotional Update O'Clock

Do I have the time, you ask? No! But I do know that my friend Barry just "checked in" at Denny's thanks to my Twitter update-pulling Tokyoflash concept watch. Let's go rob his house!

Now, this concept watch does tell time, but it does so in a very concept watch kind of way. Those pixelated bars in the image above represent hours, minutes and 10-minute blocks, which you can spend a few hours each day trying to decipher whenever that passing stranger on the subway asks for the time.

Or, more boringly, you could switch the watch to a mode that spells out the time and date with "words" and "numbers." [Tokyoflash via Geekologie]

I like the Tendril Vision's looks. And I like it even more because it's real, even while it feels like a spare part for the Enterprise's bridge. The clock connects to the electric grid, giving you real time consumption information.

Its International Women’s Day and its befitting that I confuse you guys with Andy Kurovets’ Maze Of Time. There is a connection between the two… you had fun at the expense of the female anatomy and now it’s time to pay for those silly smirks! The Maze Of Time watch uses colors in a kaleidoscopic way to represent the time. So when you see a chaotic yellow line below, it’s actually the number “1”. Blue is the number “2”, red color stands for “3”, and “4” corresponds to the green etc. Kinda TokyoFlash-esque and time to get your grey cells working!

This Time It’s A Sexy Watch

Besides it’s sexy looks, what I like most about the OXY Watch is that it’s unisex. Routine specs like Time, Date, Calendar, and Alarm are included, but what makes it stand out is its gorgeous E-ink display. It’s been conceived in several versions with stainless steel and colored leather strap combos, encasing a monochrome display with mineral glass. XKALIA Typography has been used to display the numerics, which really goes well with the styling.
