Nixon 2012 Fall/Winter The Player XL “Gunmetal”:

Nixon‘s The Player receives some significant upgrades in what looks to be the bigger brother of the previously introduced 40mm watch. Taking on the moniker, “The Player XL,” the gunmetal stainless steel watch sees a multitude of additions including a larger 48mm face, three-hand automatic movement, and crystal domed sapphire crystal. The biggest difference is in the internals; a Swiss made ETA 2824-2 automatic three hand movement gives the watch a more refined aesthetic as the inner workings are perfectly showcased through the watch’s hardened mineral caseback window. It should be noted that a real diamond is sourced and placed at the six hour postion, making this watch a true showpiece from a distance and up close.
